EPDM Rubber Roofing
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is one of the most durable flat roofing systems available — flexible, UV-resistant, and capable of lasting 30–50 years with minimal maintenance.
Benefits of EPDM Rubber Roofing
EPDM is the system of choice for projects where long-term durability and low maintenance are the priority.
30–50 Year Lifespan
EPDM outlasts traditional felt roofing by decades — one of the longest-lasting flat roof systems available.
Fully Flexible
The rubber membrane flexes with the building during temperature changes, preventing cracking and splits.
Excellent UV Resistance
EPDM does not degrade under UV exposure — no coating or surface treatment required.
Low Maintenance
Once installed, EPDM requires minimal maintenance. An annual inspection is all that's typically needed.
Ideal for Large Roofs
Available in very large sheet sizes — most roofs can be covered with a single piece, minimising joins.
Eco-Friendly
EPDM is made from recycled materials and is fully recyclable at the end of its life.
How EPDM Roofing is Installed
EPDM is supplied in large rolls and bonded to the roof deck using specialist adhesive and mechanical fixings. The large sheet sizes mean most roofs can be covered with minimal joins, each sealed with self-adhesive EPDM tape.
- Single-piece coverage on most domestic roofs
- All edges and upstands secured and sealed
- Suitable for warm roof and inverted roof systems
- Compatible with roof lights, skylights, and penetrations
- 20-year manufacturer warranty available
